application opening

i ahve accidently deleted a file in the system32 folder,
afterwards i have found out I cannot open any application,
I am very confused and i need some help to fix it,

( i have tried to reboot it but this does not work )

Please help

If you can get to Task Manager (CTRL-ALT-DEL), get your Windows XP CD
out and run "SFC /scannow".
