Application Installation Failure

I have been trying to install an application but somehow the install program
(Installshield) just flashes by and quit. I did an installation on a Win98se
machine with no problem.

I am using an XPpro will all updates installed and I do have administrator
privileges.

Try right clicking on the setup.exe (or whatever) and select Properties>
Compatibility tab, in 'compatibility mode' check and select Windows 98.

The application is probably not compatible with XP Pro.
Try a compability test. Go to: Start/All
Programs/Accessories/Programs Compatibility Wizard.
