Application hang

Hi,
Excel 2007 (12.0.4518.1014) - when I work with a larger data sheet eg 3000
rows and I create X-Y graph and then I want to format the graph - the
application hangs (not responding) and I have problem to save the file. I
have to forced termination. In Events log there is a mistake ID=5000
EventType officelifeboathang, P1 excel.exe, P2 12.0.4518.1014, P3 oart.dll,
P4 12.0.4518.1014, P5 NIL, P6 NIL, P7 NIL, P8 NIL, P9 NIL, P10 NIL.
Could you please help me?
Windows XP MCE, 2 GHz, 1 G RAM

Excel 2007 locks in

Hi Martin,

I have exactly the same problem with MS Excel 2007. Have you resolved the problem, yet? I tried to search various forums, without any luck

Is there anyone who already knows what the problem might be?

When Excel locks, it uses around 130MB RAM and 97%CPU.

I have Dell Latitude 810 (XP Pro, 2.26GHz, 2G RAM).
