Application error

I am using a software application called Metastock. Today
it has crashed twice with event id 1000 & 1001 each time.
Under event ID 1000 is the message "Faulting application
mswin.exe, version 8.0.1.0, faulting module mswin.exe,
version 8.0.1.0, fault address 0x002faaf8." and 1001 the
message "Fault bucket 49994979".

Does anyone know what is causing this crash?

Find out what mswin.exe is on your computer. It's not a Windows file.
It could could be related to an epson printer or it could be a trojan.
