Apple Safari browser - now also for Windows

Yes, I am running it on Windows Vista x64, its still have some bugs to work
out but is usable. You will experience rendering problems with a lot of
Internet Explorer based websites. Viewing my Windows Live Space on it is
just horrendous. Right now, its just experimental.

Will this run on Vista. So mcuh will not!!

Gaming Programs

Remailer JBN and Quicksilver will not!!!!

Will Safari?

It works yes, but it isn't up too much. IE7 or Firefox, or Opera are way
ahead of Safari on Windows.

I've read in several places that Safari is a dud. Why waste time on it if
you can have IE7 or Firefox?

I very much disagree with that point of view. Opinions that you read
are other people's opinions. They may or may not match your own
opinions. Especially when it comes to web browsers, its easy enough to
try another one to see how you like it. I tried Safari; personally I
didn't like it, but that's no reason why you shouldn't try it for
yourself.

My personal favorite browser is Maxthon. I recommend that you try that
too.

I second Paul Smith's analysis. I tried it, but it didn't blow me away.It
worked on Vista. It became available for Vista and Windows several months
ago.

distracting.

Oh really, I didn't even know it was out of BETA. I stopped using Netscape
at version 4.72, I still continued to download the later releases and
occasionally tried them out, but got so accustomed to IEs UI and strong
support across the web.

You make sure that you insult Linux enough to cover your trails... but we

Start posting from windows mail, and then we might believe you have Vista...

Reading a header doesn't always tell the truth. You can insert whatever
you want in any Moz product header using general.useragent.override, and
I would suppose the same can be done by most other clients as well.

You said, "try learning to read a header". One could spoof the user
agent, so reading a header isn't a sure fire way. I could change my
user agent to display I'm using OS X or Linux or even Vista, even though
I don't.
