APP_VERO_22743

Hello,
I am getting error messages that read: APP_VERO_22743
Connection timed out (error #10060) when on-line and when
off-line I get the message: APP_VERO_22743 No Route to Host
(error #10065). These messages keep repeating and
cascading across my screen and I can't get rid of them. My
ISP says it's a Microsoft problem. Is this a virus?

Do a Search on the error messages, Click start, then Help and Support.

It is a Winsock error -- not a Microsoft problem but a problem with your
XP install.

Try repairing your Winsock install per the following (although I have to
tell you, I've never run it myself but others recommend it):
