to outlook. this is great when i am home and i have access to the laptop.
however when i am in my office or out of town and i want to check my aol
email account. it is empty. how do i still keep the mail in the aol
account, so i can check my email from other computers

I was under the impression that accessing AOL mailboxes via Outlook requires
an IMAP account. Did he set up a POP account?
