AOL IM removal

My kids use AOl IM on theier accounts but I don't. Can I prevent it from
poping up everytime I open my account and still work on their's?

Maybe you can go and see if this is what you want.
Go to the Buddy List Setup.
Go to IM Settings.
Go to the General Buddy Tab.
Uncheck "Show my Buddy List window at sign-on".
