AOL and OE

I'm in France :-(, and I was able to config OE to send and recive AOL mail,
I'm now trying to do the same with my friend in US, so far I have been able
to have OE send AOL mails but not luck for the reception.

Any ideas out there?

I'm VERY surprised you managed to configure OE to work with AOL without
using a third-party application - do you mean just using AOL as your
internet access or actually downloading AOL mail into OE?

Downloading AOL mail into OE

incoming mail: imap.fr.aol.com
outgoing mail: smtp.fr.aol.com

and selecting " My server requires authentification" it works great
