Outlook Express 6 interface with AOL

AOL recently opened up access so that you can use OE 6 to
pull your e-mail from AOL.

I have configured OE 6 exactly as AOL's instructions,
however, the very last step is where I have a problem.

When I try to download list of folders available, I get an
error message that the server has rejected my logon ID.

AOL can't help me at all. I talked to 4 service reps, and
they all give me the runaround. They even told me to
reinstall OE 6, which I did twice to no avail.

Can anyone help?

Would appreciate any advise.

If you've followed the instructions to the letter, best I can suggest is to
double check your authentication information. Make sure you don't have any
spaces in your Screen Name and double-check the spelling of your password.

I have detailed information on AOL's IMAP server at
<http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/imap/>, although it's still
early for much troubleshooting data.
