Has anyone experienced any difficulty with their windows xp, outlook or
outlook express
programs after installing the new version of AOL software?

I have not downloaded this new version yet, and before I do, wanted to see
if anyone was having any conflicts.

IMHO:

AOL + any windows version = problems

Probs that never get 100% fixed until you format cause aol buries itself
deep into the os and doesn't want to give control back to you. I always
recommend staying away from aol. I see your on comcast so there's no need
for aol now. If you have kids and need parental controls then use a program
like net nanny. If you or kids need aol instant messenger, just install it
separately, you don't need aol to use it. AOL will eventually die as
consumers get more educated on the internet. It does nothing to teach users
about how to use the real internet and real pop3 email. When you using aols
browser or connection your aren't even on the internet technically, you're
just connect to aols server which mirrors the real sites. And the new
features aol is touting now have been available on the internet for years
now and in most cases a free program.

Yes I have it and it works just fine on my system with XP and my cable
modem.
