Has anybody successfully installed XP's ICS for a home
network using AOL 9.0 Broadband with BYOA DSL? I can see
the AOL PPPoe connection when running a CONFIG /ALL but
can't get the home network to see that connection (nor
does it show up in Network Connections. AOL's Tech
Support staff are no help at all. Any posted instructions
are appreciated!

Thanks,

-Kurt

America Online installs its own connection settings that override
the ones that come with Windows XP. America Online's
connection settings don't include a way to turn on Windows XP's
built-in firewall.

Visit the following web site for instructions on downloading
a FREE firewall program for your computer.
