anyone knows about japanese language support?

hi,

i'm currently having some problems with installation of a software to
windows xp (japanese). the software is an american software and it's in
english interface. however, my customer is using japanese XP OS. after the
installation, keying in in english has no problem, but once switch to
japanese ime to key in in japanese, the text boxes can show the japanese
characters.

i've tried installing multilanguage support for xp, and patched the software
with all available service packs, but it still has the same problem.

any advise?

sorry, typo error.

when switched to japanese ime to type japanese characters, the text boxes
can't display the japanese characters.

is there anyway to solve this problem?
P.S: I'm installing an accounting software for my japanese clients.
need help urgently...
