Problem: I believe that I printed a very sensitive document from MS Word but, I can not seem to find the hard copy.

**I know that I created the document and that * I did not save it * when I closed Word down. However, I'm
not sure that it actually printed.

My printer has a considerable delay and I was in a frenzy at the time.

Thanks

Windows 2000 Pro can be set to log information events to the System Event Log, which would show what you are looking
for. The problem is this option is normally not on by default would have to have been set before the print job was sent.

You can go to the Printers folder, select Server Properties from the File menu and then check to see if the option "Log
spooler information events" is checked on the Advanced tab. If it is check then look in the System Event Log for the
information events. If it is not checked then the information you are looking for is will not be available.
