No Printout when printing with MS Word

Hi All,

I am facing this strange problem.

I am trying to print addresses on envelopes. The printer I am having is HP
Deskjet 1220C. It is connected via LPT1 to a Dell server and is shared out.

When I use MS Word 2000 Envelope and Label function to print, the envelope
just got feed in and feed out without printing anything. I have updated the
printer driver but this does not help. I have also spoken to HP support and
they have no idea what's wrong either. Printing from either trays does not
work.

I can print a test page but I can't print a document from MS Word. However,
I can print from MS Outlook and Internet Explorer. So I believe the printer
seems to be just "allergic" to MS Word.

Anyone has any idea?

Thanks.

Take a look in(Word) Tools, Options, Print. And check those settings.
Also in Include with document, Drawing Objects should be selected.

I think Bob has a good answer also make sure that the correct loading is
taking place. I had a situation where you load the envelope landscape and we
were printing portrait. The text was trying to print but was off the edge of
the envelop. We recognized the problem when we feed a full sheet instead of
the envelope.

I think Word puts this into a text box so it can be positioned on the paper
correctly. If you are in draft mode it might not print graphics pieces.
