Outlook has very bad feature that all embedded graphics can only be
saved in bmp format, which is no good as sometimes they are even
animated gifs.

Also, I belong to several yahoo lists so the amount of graphics being
shared on any given day is enormous. Outlook Attachment Sniffer v3.6
(http://www.rsbr.de/Software/OASniffer/index_eng.htm) is great, but
it's shareware.

Was hoping someone knew of a freeware equivalent.

Thanks!

Why continue using a crappy program like Outlook, when there
are so many superior programs available?

I'm leaving now to go find myself. If I should return before I
get back, please ask me to wait.

Check out the programs listed at:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/auto.htm

Scroll down to "special function tools", you may find something that does
the trick.

Thank you, will do.

I'll report back.

Ah, of course, none of them freeware.

Thanks just the same. Was looking for freeware, as you can imagine.
