"Version 7.0", based on occam's experience in the post chronologically
following this one, is actually Windows Defender version 1.1.1593.
I haven't, however, figured out the cryptic version number change on their
download page, versus the way they had been doing it, which was not so great
either (Version 1593), but at least there was some resemblance to the
version number in WD's About window.
