Seems like ive picked rogue prog. Called antivirus2009pro. It seems to have
overridden my norton security, the yellow Norton icon in system tray has
changed to red. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Norton, worked for a
short time, but after a restart, the prob came back. I cannot access Norton
Security from either Desctop Icon , or programmes files. Cannot access
Norton link (or anything else) from browser, page just keeps coming up
telling me im insecure. Does anyone know of a prog that will eradicate this
antivirus prog?. I cannot even get into Micorsoft help and support, keeps
saying web page unavailable.

Try downloading the following from "Safe Mode with Networking". Update
its definitions before running.
Malwarebytes© Corporation - Anti-Malware

Elmo and Leonard's advice was fine. If you find you can't get to
Norton's site, you probably could get there by using their IP instead
(numeric address instead of text address). For Symantec/Norton Main
Page, it is:
206.204.52.31 Just use that instead of the text address you would
normally use. Usually such software doesn't bother to block the IP.

Still haven't mastered the art of using attributions? Who are you
responding to?

Where are the attribution lines for the authors? Do you see them? I sure
don't.
