Antivirus program not found

I recently installed Norton Antivirus 2005 on my computer
and the Security Center doesn't recognise it. I have
both Norton 2005 and AVG. When I had Norton 2004, this
problem did not exist. It has only come up since
installing Norton 2005. What do I need to do to get
Security Center to recognise my antivirus program? AVG
has never been recognised, but until the installation of
Norton 2005, my Norton program was.

Hello,

never put 2 Antivirus programs on your PC!
The will not work like the should!!!

With Antispyware this is no problem!

Both AVG's newest version, which is still free for individuals, and Norton
2005 should be recognized by the Security Center.

With Norton, I believe there's a specific update which must be installed for
this recognition to happen--have you run LiveUpdate until no more updates
are shown as available?

My recollection on a clean install was that this took about four cycles of
downloading updates and rebooting....

A quick way to get LiveUpdate running is Start, run, luall <enter>
