Anti Virus Boot CDs

If you get a really nasty infection on your PC that prevents Windows from loading properly, there are a few boot CDs that let you run up to date AV software. You can't update definitions on them without re-downloading, so it's best to make one on another PC when you need it.

Here's a list of the ones I can find

• Kaspersky Rescue CD
• Avira Anti-Vir Rescue CD
• Bit-Defender Rescue CD

I think the Ultimate Boot CD V4.0 may help in that scenario as well, though I've yet to try it for that purpose.
