Anti-crash software

Is there anything out there that can reduce, warn or prevent crashing.

Task manager on Windows 98SE does not help, it just locks up, any program
that is not responding.

Most of these applications in my experience cause the most of the crashes...

Recommend what the other two suggest upgrade your OS

Linux Mandrake 9.1 is awesome
Windows 2000 or XP is okay

but anything is better than 9x ME

There's another worm out now..supposedly will slow the net down to a crawl.
Query: Where is Linux Mandrake 9.1 available and where, if any place can I
read about it on the net? I have a copy of Red Hat 5.02... what a bear!
TIA.

Try telling that to people who have been infected by the MSBlast worm.
:0)

Oh one worm that has targeted these to OS compared to 59 999.

It's their fault for not protecting their system and security... My
network is a mixture of XP 2000 Linux and 98. And have never been infected
by any virus, trojon or worm and I been doing this since my ZX81. Its not
that hard to do.
