Another Vista Upgrade Question

Why wouold anyone want to buy and then store a CD/DVD until they have
a 64bit system. I say let the store store it for you until you have a
64bit system. ;)
 
NO. There is no shiny media check. XP must be reinstalled and activated.

Man what a PAIN IN THA ASS!
Looks like MS has no way to confirm your XP CD until you activate it.
 
I prefer getting a second 32bit computer and running them in series. :P
 
Correctomundo. Making an image backup of the XP system about to be upgraded
and another just after the upgrade should alleviate all of this.
