another missing dll...

Have been "cleaning up" my hard drive recently, trying remove old programs
and printer drivers for printers I no longer own. Now with start up I have
the message :RUNDLL...C:WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\LXBDtime.dll
module cannot be found. I'm guessing this is related to an old Lexmark
printer I no longer own (including the software or model info) ...how can I
get rid of this message at start up or is this something I need for other
programs? Thanks for any advice, Nici

Try these steps :
Go to start --> run --> type regedit and enter , once in, search for(use
"edit" --> "find")
LXBDtime.dll

Right-click the entry and delete any entry which has this name.

Note:
Be careful not to delete other entry accidentally.

Adding to the good advice by ACC, try the Autoruns it will list all the
running process and Files (DLLs) on your system and you can use it to delete
the item you don't want or an orphan left in the case of your printer.
Right click the entry and select Delete.

Run disk cleanup and reboot, do you still get the error?.

Thanks for the advice. I gave it a try, but regedit could not "find" the
dll. I next tried the Autorun utility suggested by nass (below) , and this
worked. I greatly appreciate all the suggestions, it is a relief not to have
the missing dll message popping up everytime I restart! -Nici

Nass, that AutoRun utility is great! Thanks for telling me about it, I used
it and the problem is solved. Wish I had this utility a long time ago. I
appreciate your help. - Nici
