Another attempt at help...

Andre

Hi again, I posted this request for help a couple days
ago and never recieved any help. Whether it was missed or
no one knew the answer, I will re-port this hoping
someone out there can help me.

I am having some problems with Windows messenger and am
not sure of the reason why this is occurring, Nor do I
know what to do.

I currently use Windows Messenger 4.7 (4.7.2009)
fantastic version as I like the older versions of this
and MSN 4.6.

When I am using 4.7, When I recieve a IM from anyone,
Usually right after I have signed on, Windows tells me
that Messenger has caused a error. On occassion when
someone IM's me, And this is 95% of the time, Messenger
will have a error and close.

This always happends and I can't figure out why. And you
can imagine it gets frustrating me having to sign back on
3, 4, even 5 times cause of these errors. It says it
create's a error log. Where I don't know.

Any help to resolve this would be much appriciated. I am
not wanted to -try- and upgrade hoping for a fix. For as
I said earliar. I like 4.7 more then any newer version.
If any additional information is needed, Don't hesitate
to ask, I will reply.

Thanks very much.

Greetings Andre,

What exactly is the error? Do you see an error message like, "we are sorry for the
inconvenience..."? If so, click the "click here" link -- in the next screen, you'll see
something like the following:
szAppName : msmsgs.exe szAppVer : 5.1.2600.0 szModName : rpcrt4.dll

If you could reply back with what the szModName has in your error, would make it easier to
determine what the problem is.
