annoying taskbar virus alert!

Hello

I too am a new user, and sorry if my email seems redundant. I have downloaded ad-adware se and spybot, and they have'nt detected the annoying virus warning in my taskbar that appears every 30 odd seconds. That's also true with the norton familly of virus scan that it was not able to pick out...and I paid for that service!
I also had hijack enumerate a list that I saved in a txt file.

Now how do I remove that bugger?

Run all the fixes HERE exactly as instructed - then run CCleaner to remove any rubbish left behind (untick the Yahoo Toolbar install option).

Download, install and run Windows Defender, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D and SpywareBlaster in Safe Mode available HERE .

Then do yourself a favour and bin Norton and install either Kaspersky (pay) or AntiVir (free)
