Hi JeremyKI, and welcome to the forums :)

Can you let us know exactly what the symptoms are and what you have already tried to do to get rid of it, also what OS your using.

Download HijackThis, and copy/paste the text file here so we can look at it, also follow the fix HERE exactly as instructed :thumb:

You haven't said how you got rid of the handicap sign or whether you have run the fix listed above yet.

Looking at your log, you do have smitfraud on your PC - so you need to get into safe mode and run HijackThis, check the following entries and click 'fix':

C:\WINDOWS\system32\atmclk.exe

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

O3 - Toolbar: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Companion\Installs\cpn\yt.dll (file missing)

O3 - Toolbar: Norton AntiVirus - {C4069E3A-68F1-403E-B40E-20066696354B} - C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\NavShExt.dll (file missing)

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll (file missing)

O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Sun Java Console - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\ssv.dll (file missing)

I'm not happy about 'AdwareAlert' being on your system, its a dubious program, can you tell me if you have it installed legitimately - if so I would delete it via add/remove programs, then check to see if this entry has gone, if not then remove it:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AdwareAlert] C:\Program Files\AdwareAlert\AdwareAlert.exe -boot

Once done, please re-post your log :thumb:

ok thanks for the help so far! I ran the CCleaner and then Ewido, then i followed the directions from the link posted exactly the way it said, then it told me to go into safe mode. Ok now when i tried to enter safe mode it wouldnt let me change to enter safe mode it stayed on Start up windows normally. I dont know if thats because i have a wireless keyboard or not?? so when windows started back up the handicap sign was gone but the triangle alert was still there. Thus the problem for now is getting into safe mode right?

Try using Start>Run>msconfig>BOOT.INI>Safeboot>Minimal to get into safemode.

Have you checked to see if AdwareAlert is a program on your system and removed it as suggested?
