.
Some helps for pop-ups:
the tools menu, click on options, on the first page you
will be able to delete cookies, temp files and history for
the net. however this does not remove all cookies that
put themselves in various files. I purchase Pest Patrol,
the first time I ran the program 132 cookies where found
on my computer. With total deletion of cookies and the
registry changes, the system ran 25% faster. Deleting
cookies will stop the pop-ups when not on the net.
key command, Ctrl+W this will instantly close any window
or pop-up. If the pop-ups come repeatedly just hold down
the ctrl key and hit the W key repeatedly the pop-ups will
stop. You might then consider putting that web site on
the "do not go there" list.

I hope this helps...........smiles

I just wanted to say I downloaded the software found at
the above site and havn't had a pop-up since, it seems
they were coming from my own computer hidden in files I'd
downloaded.
Thanks what a difference it makes surfing in peace!
