Annoying Down Arrows

How can a person get rid of these helpful down arrows.
Yes, it shows the last couple of software packages used.
But I'm forever clicking on them to see the rest of the
list. I could see it useful if a person alot of software
packages loaded, but when you have only a dozen its a
pain.

Can someone tell me how to turn them off....

Are you talking about the Language display settings etc? If so select
Customise and remove the components apart from the Language settings.

I'm sorry. I ment when a person goes to start, programs
then it shows only the packages that have been recently
used with an arrow pointing down.

I would like it to show all programs no arrow.

I think he means under the "Programs" listing.
(1) Right Click on any open space on 'Task bar' ( or whatever it's called )
(2) Choose 'Properties'
(3) UNCHECK the box that says 'Use Personalized Menus'

Yes I hate that thing also.
