Annoying adult popups

T

Terry

My computer (Windows Xp Home) has Norton Antivirus and
Popup stopper software installed. I keep getting popups
on my screen when I am doing other things. They are
either Provocative or about Viagra and so forth. I
cannot figure out how to get rid of them. My popup
software does stop some popups but not these. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, you have adware/spyware in your computer and it took me a
whole week to clean it up..dowload spyblocs from eblocs.com ($29.95)..I did
a combination of spyhunter and spyblocs, but found that spyware is not able
to clean up the adware/spyware...it keeps going through the same things,
says it has cleaned it and still finds the same things the next time it
runs...
get spybot (spyblocs)...

Try running ad-aware. This will identify tracking cookies
and spy software and allow you the option to remove them.
At least this can help identify the offending program. You
can download for free..

What I have found that seems to work, I open the popp-
up "Properties" and copy the web site name and then add
it to my Symantic personal firewall and under intrusion
prtection. Has worked for me.

Hey there,
You mite wanna try out "yahoo companion". It's free
and you can download it from the internet
(yahoocompanion.com i believe). I have tried other pop-
up blockers but this seems to be the most effective
one...plus it's FREE. Try it out and let me know whut u
think.
