ANIMATIONS DON'T PLAY IN BROWSER - HELP!!!

I use windows xp and animations played in my browser fine previously. They no
longer play, just shows as a flattened image. I don't know if this has
anything to do with it, but I got wireless internet recently. I think
animations may have stopped playing in my browser about that time.

Thanks for any help you can offer. PS: I have gone into the advanced options
and all the image allow boxes are checked.
 
Perhaps a setting in your firewall? I know ZoneAlarm can stop animations.
 
Have you trying Tools/internet Options/Advanced/Play animations in web pages
