Hi,

Animated gifs have stopped working on the web pages I visit. I've tried
three different browsers, Internet Explorer, Mozilla as well as
Netscape, all the same, won't run gif animations. I can run them using
an animation program like Gif Construction Set though.

I went into my control panel/Internet Options and switched off play
animations, rebooted then switched them back on and rebooted again, no
luck yet.

I haven't loaded any new programs in a very long time.

Thanks!

Do you have ZoneAlarm installed? If so, go to ZA's Privacy pane's Main tab and
turn off "Ad Blocking". You may have to restart your system to effect the
change.

Hi David,

Damn, you're good!

That was the problem. I've been goofing around with things for days and
wasn't getting anywhere in a hurry. Your couple of clicks simple
suggestion got everything back to how it should have stayed. I think the
auto updates provided through my CA antivirus suite somehow made a
switch on me without my knowledge.

Thanks again David!
