ok... if i have an animated .gif on my computer and i open it using the
Windows program Windows Picture and Fax Viewer the .gif shows the
appropriate motion... but when im on the internet using Internet Explorer
(Version 6.0.29XX) and there is an animated .gif on a website it doesn't
move...
this is what i have tried so far...
-- Tools-Internet Options-Advanced Tab then verified that the "Play
animations in webpage" box is checked
-- emptied all my temp internet files thinking it was bogging my system down
(newer computer, 3 years old)
-- verified that, in fact, the gifs were animated by calling friends and
asking them to check same website
nothing works... none of the animated gifs move...
why?
the ONLY thing that has changed on my computer in the last couple months is
i went from Norton AV to Zone Alarm... maybe a security setting set too high
there?
thanks for the help....
