Animation

I am trying to copy a animated giff. I have some directions but they aren't
working. I think they nay be for Win 98 or 2000, not XP. Here are the
directions, can someone tell me if they are correct and if not where to find
some that will work?

Thanks so much

In the bar at the top of your documents folder, click "new" and "folder".
This will create a new folder in your documents. In the dimmed area type a
name for your new folder. Now double click the folder to open it. In the bar
at the top of the folder click "view" and then "customize this folder". You
will be presented with a folder Wizard. In this Wizard you'll find lots of
options for customizing your folder. For now, click through to page three.
From the options choose "image preview". Now click through the rest of the
pages and click "finish". Now you have an "image" folder and can save your
images to this folder. Left click on the image, if the image is animated it
will show as animated in the viewing pane on the left side of the folder.

Copying from where to paste where? Have you right-clicked on a folder and clicked
paste? You can view the animation in Windows Picture and Fax viewer or download
www.irfanview.com, a free viewer, get the plug-ins too.
