Animation Deactivated for a file?

I'm modifying slides down by someone else.

I would like to add some animation to these slides.

I added all the Entrances, etc. that I wanted. They all numbered up and
looked right in the Normal View, and when I click on "Play" in the Custom
Animation box, all looks right as well.

BUT when I go into Presentation Mode, the whole slide appears at once - no
animation at all!

(I copied and pasted the whole kit and kaboodle to a new file, and the
animation works fine in Presentation Mode there.)

Is there a setting I can't find somewhere that's disabled the animation
settings for the whole file?

Thanks

Hi

There is a 'show without animation' tick box in Slide Show-> Set up show.
That's the first place I would look.

Just the trick - much easier than removing animations from 20 some slides!

Hi Kristin

Echo has shown you where it is on the ribbon, but another sneaky way to get
to the set up show dialogue (also works for 2003) is to hold shift button
while clicking the slide show button in the bottom left hand corner (bottom
right in 2003).
