Just wondering something, and have not found a Microsoft Newssgroup for this
BUT. I was just wondering if anyone knew why, A magazine I really kind of
like, called "Microsoft WindowsXP, The Official windows XP Magazine", Is
produced in England of all places, and is not available in a US flavor?
Although the UK edition is very good, and might as well be from the US.

I've only been able to find it as a "import" , It comes in two flavors. One
with a DVD and a CD, full of full programs, Demos and an "Official" Microsoft
Hotfixes and Toys Cd.

The other version usually just comes with 2/3 cd's. The dvd version had extras
on it for $1.00 more.

They are 13.95 and 14.95 a month respectively.

But to point, WHY UK and No US??

As far as I know because there is an enterprising publisher in the UK
who started it, among many other computing magazines. It is not
produced by Microsoft, though they give it an official blessing, and are
consulted on technical content. It is just becoming available on
electronic subscription too: see advert in the December issue which
arrived with me yesterday
