An oversized header on page in the middle of a doc. that won't del

I'm working on a large doucment and have had a large (4") header on page
that I did place there. Nothing from the help files works. The headers in
the document don't appear to be affected by anything changes I try to make. I
have nothing in the headers and have no need for them no matter what the size
is but I can't delete them.

Texas,

Cursor on the offending page. Look at File>Page Setupt>Layout>Page>Vertical
Alignment. Set to "Top"
