word 2003 - How do I make the first page header a different size from the other pages?

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to setup a letterhead template and have my first page headers and footers different from the rest. Now I am trying to make the header on the first page 3.25" inches and the header on any other page 1.25". I don't want to have a different section though, I want the template to be one page and then if need be a second page can be added automatically but have the smaller header.
