An error occured while reconnecting 'drive letter'
to 'servername/folder'. MicroSoft\Windows Network: The
local device name is already in use. This connection has
not been restored.

i tried pinging with the servers and the pinging is

Hi philip,
On your desktop, right-click the Network Neighborhood or My Network Places icon and choose Disconnect Network Drive.
A list of mapped drives will appear in the Disconnect Network Drive window. Select the drive noted in the error message.
Click OK.
The next time you start your computer, you will not receive this message.
