AMD 64bit CPU, blue screen after xp pro sp2 upgrade

hi,

i got a new AMD 64 bit pc with xp home on it, works great. upgraded it to
windows xp pro SP2 since the it has blue screened, 0X0000007E (0XC0000005,
0XF7177174, OXF7A323C, 0XF7A32A38). and of course i can run update in safe
mode, well thats what 0X8007043C is telling.

any suggestion would be helpful
