Am I doing something wrong?

Hi everyone,

I can't seem to get my computer to stay on "standby" mode. I have the
screensaver set to come on at 10 minutes. Under power options, I have Turn
off monitor...never, turn off hard disk..never, system standby after 20
minutes. The screen saver will come on, but then nothing more happens. I
come back 6-7 hours later and the screensaver is still on. Any ideas?

Set the monitor and hard drive to turn off after 20 minutes.

I am having same problem, computer nor monitor will stay
on stand-by. Computer goes out of stand-by mode and
monotor turns itself back on, turning off screen savers
don't help. Talked with HP Rep in INDIA bout two hrs
tried everything, nothing worked. Mine has to be either
ON or OFF, no stand-by. SOMEONE, PLEASE HELP, HELP.
