Alternative to Flash Player

I have looking for a while for an alternative to Flash Player with no luck.

I don't like Adobe's bloated software.

I looked at these, but their documentation concerning how to get it to work in Firefox is very lacking.

The "replacement technology", is looking pretty shaky.
Flash is going to be around a while.

That's expected since creating an alternative is not a trivial matter and
Adobe's own Flash Player is already free.

Hey, welcome to the club.

I had this problem once, after updating Firefox. Installing the Flash again
didn't solve it (from manually downloaded Fhash EXE from Adobe's site). Had
to uninstal then istall Flash again to finally make it work.
