Alphabetizing folders in favorites

Under IE 6, to alphabetize Favorites folders I simply selected the folder
then dragged it up or down. Under IE 7, that no longer works either with the
solid gold star or with the Organize option under the green plus over the
gold star. Also, Move folder within the same parent folder doesn't change the
folder's location. Please advise.

I have no problem sorting my Favorites by dragging them where I want them. Do
you see a black line with inward facing arrowheads appear when you drag a
favorite between two others?

If all you want is an alphabetical sort, you can right-click and select
"Sort by Name". This puts all folders first, then any favorites that are not
in folders, just like a standard Windows file listing. You will have to sort
the contents of each folder individually, as I have not found an option to
sort subfolders by name.
