All User Profiles Lost - How to recreate?

I seem to have lost all user profiles from my windows xp prof computer.
even administrator does not have a profile. due to this i cannot create a
new user or profile. how do i recover?

All profiles are copied from the Default User profile when you first
login with a new account. Do you still have that?
You may have to do a repair install of XP to fix it.
