I have no idea if the start menu pop-up can be expanded to 4 columns.
Nor do I remember the other responses you got a month ago. If yours
is truly over-full, it is possible the entry you want is there but
there is no room to display it.
It sounds like you need to organize your Programs start menu. It is
located in two different directories:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs
C:\Documents and Settings\<your_user_id>\Start Menu\Programs
You may need to log in as an administrator to manipulate the first. If
you have a lot of individual programs listed, try to group them into
folders. Use any grouping that makes sense to you. (If nothing else,
group them alphabetically.) The object of the exercise is to get the
Programs start menu down to about a column and a half.
While there, note whether the link to the Brother program was created
or not. If it was, you can move it into the Brother folder. If not,
navigate to the executable, create a shortcut (should default to the
desktop), and then move it into the Brother folder.
BTW, the menu does support nested folders, if you want.
