I have a new XP Pro machine that is networked to 2 Win 98se machines via a switch. Only ONE of the 98 machines shows up on the XP (it showed up immediately), not the other. The two 98 machines find each other no problem! The 98 machines BOTH find the XP. The network protocol and sharing settings are identical on both 98 machines as well as the NIC's. Cabling and connections have been muti-checked. The one 98 machine should appear on the XP but it won't, any ideas?...

Greetings Rossington,

Do you have any personal firewalls installed? If so, make sure they are not
blocking access between the computers. Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on all
computers. Details here.

Enable NetBIOS Over TCP/IP (NetBT)
