Is there any way to create a unique patch to apply to win xp sp2 system
already installed without download all the hotfix (30+) from windows update
site ?

I downloaded all the singles hotfix from this link:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=XXXXX
and I install manually the patch.

My dream, is to have only one nice executable to double click !

It's just an illusion... ??

Thanks

Yes. Always has been, always will be.
I remember when Win95 shipped. There were
95,000 known bugs in it (who knows how many XP has).
MS will forever be patching and repatching their software.
Especially since it is a constant target for hackers.

Maybe if true AI (artificial intelligence) is ever developed,
we won't have to worry about this. Until then, keep on
patching, and wait for SP3 (or Vista as it's now known as).

Make sure Automatic Updates is turned on and don't worry about it.

Be careful, you must respect the need of restarting the computer after every update which requires it. The only supported way to install multiple updates with an only reboot is using QChain.exe:

Hi Goldrake

There is

Try http://www.autopatcher.com/

I use this all the time and it works great

They have a version for win2000 and XP

It won't patch fonts that might look like swastikas but it will give you
the serious security patches and if your handy you can add your own.
