i'm sure microsoft would grant your wish if they could... unfortunately
those attachements are from a virus trying to spread itself. keep your
virus scanner up to date and set up some mail rules to delete them as they
come in.

virus and you get them because you have posted your real e-mail address on

Yes, it is too much to ask for because M$ is not sending
them to you (Wow, imagine that, for once, this is
something M$ isn't doing poorly, LOL). If you would stop
using your real email address in the newsgroups Anna, then
you wouldn't get the swen virus eamiled to you so much.

If you did not use your real e-mail address in public newsgroups you would
receive a reduced amount of junk mail.
And as you have already been informed the e-mail you are seeing that you
think are from us are not.

Microsoft *never* E-mails attachments. If you are getting such
mail, be aware that, although it purports to be from Microsoft,
it's not. The attachments contain a virus.
