After using msconfig is it okay to leave selective startup?

A program creates an error message when starting the computer. I click okay
and computer works fine, it is just anoying to always see the same error
message. I don't want to remove the program, it works fine. I just want to
prevent it from loading on startup so I avoid the error message. Using
msconfg I unchecked the the problem program exe from startup. Computer booted
without error. Now the computer starts in selective mode not normal mode. Is
it okay to always leave computer in selective startup? If not, how do I
remove it from startup so I can go to normal startup. Thanks for any
suggestions.

That's fine, most computer do selective startup because of this is a way to
solve computer boot time takes too long.

Dan;
The computer will function properly.
But that is not the intention of Selective Start-up.
Now that you know the program, you should go to the program itself and
disable the option to start-up at boot.
Apparently this program is not one of them, but there are programs that will
recreate the start-up item.
If that happens, you can have many disabled entries and one enabled entry.
Best to stop it at the source, the program.
Better yet find the source of the error and fix that.
