Vista Home Premium:

after a reboot, a "copy" of the printer shows up as the on-line printer.

this is annoying as this printer is part of a network and then the new copy
has to be reinstalled to the network computers to be able to work.

Or, a solution is I must put old printer on-line manually to make it ready
and delete the copy from the reboot.

Please be very specific with the necessary adjustment.

Cordially,
Robert

Completely uninstalled suspect printer and all its files and drivers and
cleaned, cleaned, cleaned the registry. Reinstalled problem printer and all
seems well, second day. So far so good.
