after re-install of WinXP - customizations

I can't find the place to set WinXP to show me the size and number of
files (used to be at the bottom of each folder window) for each folder
when I open the folder.

Anyone know?

(It's so much trouble to re-install everything I should have just
thrown my computer away!!!!)
